June 25, 2011 – “ Organizing Your Job Search ” – 9:00am to 12 Noon – Immanuel Lutheran Church – 200 N. Plum Grove Road , Palatine Illinois . Ever popular, Steve Rosenblum will present his popular program covering the job search and how to bring the pieces together effectively. Steve is humorous, poignant and informative. You will appreciate the nuances of his presentation.

June 27, 2011 – “ Gaining Competitive Edge ” – 7:00pm to 9:15pm, St. Hubert Ministry Center , 729 Grand Canyon, Hoffman Estates . We will be provided a presentation by Career Coach, Steve Fredrick on the attributes that employers are looking at as they evaluate your candidacy. He will cover what you need to do and how employers are evaluating and weighing candidate criteria.

July 11, 2011** – “ Working With A Career Coach ” – 7:00pm to 9:15pm, St. Hubert Ministry Center, 729 Grand Canyon, Hoffman Estates, IL. We will feature Lawrence Hedbloom – Career Coach and presenter who will take us through what it is like to work with a career coach. Important in this presentation is the expectations he will outline, both from the person in transition using the services and the coach – their expectation from the client.

July 23, 2011 – “ The Power of Resilience and Courage ” – 9:00am to 12 Noon, St. Francis de sales Church Ministry Ctr., 135 S. Buesching Rd. , Lake Zurich . We are pleased to bring you Ann Potts, lecturer and presenter on personal motivation. Ann will help us to understand how to take adversity and turn it into a moving force, using our own abilities to move past the negatives we sometimes face and move to a new level of courage.

July 30, 2011 – “ Unleashing Your Candidate Power ” – 9:00am to 12 Noon, Orchard Evangelical Church, 1330 N. Douglas Ave., Arlington Hts., IL. We sometimes feel that the hiring process is a one-sided activity when in fact, there is another side to it. A candidate can take an active role in the process and enhance their chances for securing the job. Our presenter is Bob Podgorski, coordinator of the St. Hubert Job and Networking Ministry.

We are pleased to be presenting Patty Svare, principle with Chatfield Group, HR Business Consultants. Patty will provide us with her insights into gaining and maintaining Career Visibility – that very important aspect of getting the phone calls and the job.

August 18, 2011 – “ Top Ten Self-Defeating Career Activities ” – Thursday 7:00pm to 9:00pm Village Presbyterian Church of Northbrook , 1300 Shermer Rd. Northbrook , IL . Joining us will be Laura Menz, Executive Coach and Consultant, Unified Coaching Concepts. Laura will cover some of the pit-falls of job search and help you to avoid making these mistakes, which can set you back on your journey to that new job.

August 22, 2011 – “ The Purpose Driven Job Search ” - 7:00pm to 9:15pm. St Hubert Ministry Center , 729 Grand Canyon, Hoffman Estates , IL . Our own, Bob Podgorski, Ministry Coordinator will provide his perspectives on how to drive your Job Search to by establishing your intent and purpose. This will help you to set in motion those objectives you have but will take it a step further to help you identify your career purpose.

Miller, President, Coach Effect who will show us how to enjoy the act of career networking and to gain the action steps you need to reconnect with new employment and connect with the job of your choice.

September 12, 2011** – “ Ten Things That Make Yourself More Marketable ” - 7:00pm to 9:15pm. St Hubert Ministry Center , 729 Grand Canyon, Hoffman Estates , IL . Join us as Bob Podgorski, Coordinator of the Job Ministry presents his ten things that provide higher marketability in job a search. Bob used these ten things to drive his search to success. He channeled these ten careering traits into the drivers that brought attention to his campaign and led to increased opportunities.

September 21, 2011 – “ Career Salesmanship ” – 9:00am to 12 Noon – Community Church of Schaumburg, 2060 E. Algonquin Rd – Suite 711, Schaumburg, IL. The art of sales as it pertains to Careering will be presented by Bob Podgorski, Coordinator of the St. Hubert Job and Networking Ministry. You don't need to be a Salesman to understand and use sales techniques to further your job search. Bob will provide attendees with ways they can use sales methodology and effectively apply it to careering. The material has job seeking relevance and application to all occupations as we seek to make a sale of our skills and abilities to a new employer.

September 24, 2011 – “ Six Months Out and Still Not Connecting ” – 9:00am to 12 noon – United Methodist Church , 206 S. Rush Street , Roselle , IL . We are pleased to present Joe McLennen, McLennen and Associates, a consulting firm. Joe will give us some tips on moving our search from the slow lane to fast lane with steps we can take to accelerate our impact and results. Joe coaches professionals and assists Not-For-Profit organizations in Business and organizational matters.
